Bob Cunningham is president and CEO of the International Centre for Missing & Exploited Children, a non-governmental organization with representation in 12 countries. He continues to serve as executive director for learning development at Understood, where he’s been part of the team since its founding.
Cunningham has advised nonprofit organizations and philanthropic foundations through work with the Poses Family Foundation and New Profit, Inc. He’s been the chief administrator for independent schools and a school leader in both general and special education for multiple public districts. And he’s served as a trustee or advisory board member for organizations like Teleperformance, NCLD, the NVLD Project, Hunter College’s Department of Special Education, and many schools.
He holds a BS from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and two master’s degrees from Teachers College, Columbia University. He also taught at Teachers College, in the departments of special education and curriculum and teaching.
